The Woman Behind Nina & Co

Hi, my name is Nina Cavalcante, and I've been living in the United States since year 2000. Initially working in the marketing sector, I have called this place home ever since. I have spent my whole working life serving others in some capacity and spent the previous 12 years in the tourism industry until switching careers to real estate in 2010. I have always loved working with people and being of service.

How a Passion for Accessories Led Me to Start a Business

I consider myself an accessory connoisseur; I absolutely love jewelry, and I take great pride in the fact that it has helped me feel like a strong, independent woman. My profession as a Realtor necessitated that I constantly present myself professionally. My husband and I got the chance to become partners in a jewelry manufacturing company in Brazil that has been in business for nearly 20 years.

A symbol of your strength, independence, and style

Following the pandemic of 2020, this prompted me to launch my own jewelry company and e-commerce website. I wanted to help other ladies feel the way I do whenever I put on one of my necklaces or bracelets, so I created a shop selling jewelry. 

My most important personal values are integrity, persistence, trustworthiness, inspiration, simplicity, honesty, achievement, contentment, appreciation, generosity, and a stellar reputation. I sincerely believe that accessories symbolize strength for women; they remind us how far we've come. I often tell people I meet that my favorite thing about jewelry is that it doesn't discriminate. It makes everyone feel beautiful, meaningful, and empowered.

It is my life's work to ensure that other women know their worth, feel confident in themselves, and appreciate their own natural beauty. I want to have a constructive effect on the lives of everyone I come into contact with. I work tirelessly to continuously improve myself in the same way I want everyone else to improve. My intuition tells me to follow my dreams and let myself be free. My own successes will be used for the greater good of all women in society.
